Alright, so here’s a thing about Brandin Podziemski—you know, that dude from the Golden State Warriors. He just went under the knife. Yep, another surgery. This time it was for some core muscle thing, and apparently, it went smoothly. They’re saying he’ll be all set for training camp, which is good news, right?
Oh, and speaking of surgeries, he had this wrist thing back in May. Debridement, they call it. Sounds fancy, doesn’t it? Anyway, onto his stats—or milestones, maybe? At 22, the guy hit a career-high average of 11.7 points. Not too shabby, adding in 5.1 rebounds and some extra sprinkles with 3.4 assists, plus a few steals on the side (1.1 if you’re counting).
Now imagine him running around on the court for about 26.8 minutes—give or take—in 64 games. I know, I lost count too. But guess what? He started in 33 of those games. Fast forward to playoff time, and his numbers were like 11.3 points, 5 rebounds, some assists here and there, 1.3 steals too. And he was clocking almost 32.1 minutes over a dozen postseason matches. Now, I don’t know about you, but those extra minutes must have been intense.
Anyway, he seems pretty on track to bounce back. Fingers crossed nothing gets in the way of training camp. Warriors fans, you with me on this? Maybe we’ll see some more of those slick moves once he’s back. Or, who knows what surprises he’ll bring to the court next season.
