This whole McGregor-Chandler thing, it’s been simmering since, what, 2023? Back when they were both doing their best to play ’mentor’ on The Ultimate Fighter 31. That’s reality TV for you, always setting something up. Fight was supposed to happen at UFC 303 last summer, but then McGregor stubbed his toe—okay, got injured—but honestly, can’t you just picture him tripping over his own ego?
Then Chandler jumped online to respond. Something like “Unfinished Business Loading….” Does that sound like a videogame glitch or is it just me? Told McGregor to dig up his dusty contract—apparently with just the right amount of rust so it’s dramatic—and maybe make it, what’s the word, fresher?
