Conor McGregor Asserts ‘Unfinished Business’ with Michael Chandler, Chandler Replies

So, I saw Conor McGregor mixing things up a bit online—figured it’s worth a few words, right? Anyway, he just threw out one of those not-so-subtle hints about stepping back into the cage. Said something like he’s got “unfinished business” with Michael Chandler. I mean, if you’ve followed his Twitter, you know it’s all caps. Seriously, is it really Conor if it’s not in screaming caps?

This whole McGregor-Chandler thing, it’s been simmering since, what, 2023? Back when they were both doing their best to play ’mentor’ on The Ultimate Fighter 31. That’s reality TV for you, always setting something up. Fight was supposed to happen at UFC 303 last summer, but then McGregor stubbed his toe—okay, got injured—but honestly, can’t you just picture him tripping over his own ego?

Then Chandler jumped online to respond. Something like “Unfinished Business Loading….” Does that sound like a videogame glitch or is it just me? Told McGregor to dig up his dusty contract—apparently with just the right amount of rust so it’s dramatic—and maybe make it, what’s the word, fresher? New ink, fresh ink, any ink that gets these guys in the octagon.

Seen this pic floating around too, like, with McGregor in one of those intense moments, probably thinking about leg day. Last time he fought, was against Dustin Poirier. Their third dance, if you count, ended with McGregor and a broken leg, literally. Imagine that snap, yikes. Normally, they’d want him sweating it out in the testing pool for six months before he’s allowed a crack at the license again.
