Boyne Golf Announces Partnership with Noteefy
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Boyne Golf has teamed up with Noteefy to tackle a growing challenge in the golfing world—finding a suitable tee time. On the surface, the increased demand for time slots is great for golf courses, as it translates into healthy financials. However, for avid golfers trying to squeeze in a round, the situation can be quite frustrating.

Historically, Boyne Golf has tackled this issue by offering an online booking system that adjusts tee time prices based on demand. This strategy encourages golfers to choose less popular times, ensuring that slots are filled—though these times might not be as desirable. Before digital booking, this practice was done manually, making Saturday morning tee times more expensive than Saturday evenings. Boyne’s dynamic pricing has improved on that model with real-time adjustments.

What sets Boyne apart now is its recent collaboration with Noteefy, adding a new dimension to its technology. Noteefy’s system allows golfers to join an electronic waitlist for prime tee times that are fully booked. When a cancellation occurs, golfers receive instant notifications via text and email, providing an opportunity to grab the open slot by simply logging into the booking system.

Integrating Noteefy into Boyne’s existing platform streamlines the booking process further. It’s a clever solution that benefits golfers eager for a chance on the green and helps golf courses maintain revenue by reducing the number of unfilled cancellations.

BOYNE Golf’s Noteefy partnership extends across all its Northern Michigan courses, including the Bay Harbor Golf Club, The Highlands, Boyne Mountain, and Crooked Tree Golf Club. Josh Richter, Senior Vice President of Golf Operations at Boyne Resorts, likens Noteefy to dining apps like OpenTable and Resy, simplifying the booking process so golfers can focus on their game rather than getting a slot. The system is user-friendly, requiring golfers to submit their preferred times and then booking as usual when notified of openings. No extra fees are charged for using this service, making it a no-brainer for golfers and a savvy move for Boyne.

Noteefy is making its mark in the industry, offering considerable revenue opportunities for resorts and courses by ensuring fewer cancelled tee times go unfilled. Research indicates significant financial gains for courses using Noteefy, with notable quantities of annual lost revenue being reclaimed.

Golfers have an easier time accessing their favorite courses at Boyne, which has been recognized as one of North America’s standout resorts by GOLF Magazine. The stunning courses at Bay Harbor Golf Club and The Highlands, among others, are known for their scenic beauty and diverse challenges, designed by renowned architects.

Always innovating, Boyne Mountain provides not only golf but family-friendly activities, underscoring its standing as a top destination for all ages, as honored by Golf Digest. With the addition of Noteefy’s capabilities, Boyne Golf enhances its reputation for delivering exceptional and seamless golfing experiences.
