UFC Vegas 109? Oh man, it’s happening right here at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Nevada—like, smack dab in the middle of August. I actually love how tonight wraps up before they hit the road again. Chicago’s set for next weekend. Talk about a whirlwind.
So here’s how tonight rolls out for those of us tuning in from the US—starts off in the afternoon, around 4 pm Eastern, or 1 pm if you’re chilling on the West Coast. Prelims get the ball rolling, then things heat up on the main card at 7 pm ET or 4 pm PT. You can catch the whole thing on ESPN, both the regular channel and ESPN+.
And, yeah, everyone made it through the weigh-ins yesterday, so all 12 fights are on for tonight. No drama there, which is kinda cool—not that anyone loves a hiccup, but it spices things up sometimes, you know?
Oh, and check this—Angela Hill’s in the spotlight tonight. Feels like just yesterday she was stepping on the scales at Palace Station in Vegas. Funny how time flies and all that.
Main Event Jamboree!
Right at the top of the card is this throwdown between two middleweights—Roman Dolidze and Anthony Hernandez. Roman’s sitting at No. 9, while Anthony’s at No. 10, and it’s slated for up to five rounds. Kind of a cake topper for the night, if you ask me.
Co-Main Event Fiasco
Before we hit the height of excitement, Steve Erceg and Ode Osbourne are gonna duke it out in the co-main event. Bantamweight action, my friend, with three rounds to decide who comes out on top.
And the Rest—Just as Exciting!
The card’s packed with some serious firepower. There’s this strawweight bout featuring Iasmin Lucindo against Angela Hill—Angela’s amazing by the way—featherweights, bantamweights, you name it. Miles Johns takes on Jean Matsumoto, and Eryk Anders will clash with Christian Leroy Duncan. It’s a buffet of fights, really.
