COBRA’s New Limited-Edition Driver Hits a Season-Opening Grand Slam

Nobody does limited-edition quite like COBRA. Really, no one tops them in this department. Just look at the past month: they’ve released not one but two breathtaking limited-edition drivers plus a headcover collection that’s as fierce as it is stylish. With Augusta’s showdown on the horizon, it’s no surprise COBRA had something special planned.

And true to form, COBRA delivers once again.

Dive into the 2025 Season Opener limited-edition DS-ADAPT driver, and you’ll see exactly what I mean. It’s a real stunner.

Let’s rewind a bit. Just 31 days ago, COBRA wowed us with their first 2025 limited-edition driver, created in honor of the legendary Arnold Palmer and the Bay Hill Invitational. A week later, they introduced the vibrant Palm Tree Crew Limited Edition driver, around the same time they dropped the Gator Drip headcover collection just before the Players Championship.

That lineup alone is a dream team of limited editions. All it needed was a signature piece to cap it off, and today, we receive just that. The COBRA Season Opener limited-edition drivers are the newest must-haves in this year’s Augusta-themed gear, and they might just be the brand’s finest work in these exclusive releases.

COBRA has truly outdone themselves with these drivers — so much so, they might even warrant a close inspection by the USGA for any extra oomph.

The visual theme for the Season Opener limited-edition driver draws from classic “postcards-from-Georgia” imagery. COBRA avoids the cliché of overdone azaleas or overwhelming Masters colors of green, white, and yellow. Instead, they opt for a more subtle palette with just a hint of azaleas, cleverly balanced with other elements of Georgian flora and fauna. The green and white contrasts beautifully with a soft Georgia peach tone, making the aesthetic both sophisticated and unique.

A striking white frame on the carbon-fiber crown is reminiscent of TaylorMade’s M-series. This motif continues to the sole, where Augusta gets a nod with an elegant script: “The garden city of the south.”

COBRA offers the Season Opener in their three 2025 DS-ADAPT models. First up is the DS-ADAPT LS, a 445cc low-spin option. Then there’s the 460cc DS-ADAPT MAX 10K, featuring an impressive heel-toe and high-low MOI surpassing 10,000. Lastly, the DS-ADAPT X also comes in at 460cc, offering a well-rounded choice for a wide range of golfers with its balanced front-back weighting.

A highlight across all three models is COBRA’s innovative FUTUREFIT33 adjustable hosel system. It allows for an impressive 33 different loft, lie, and face angle settings, providing fitters with a versatile platform to optimize launch conditions for any golfer.

In terms of availability, the COBRA Season Opener limited-edition drivers are now accessible online or at select retailers. Each driver comes with a specialty True Temper HZRDUS Black shaft featuring floral designs reflecting “springtime in Georgia.” Completing the package is a chic white, green, and peach headcover decorated with a “Greetings from COBRA” slogan and a Georgia peach on the back.

These limited-edition beauties retail for $649, keeping in line with their other exclusive offerings. For those eager to snag one, it’s time to act fast.

For more details, head over to the COBRA website.

And there you have it — another homerun from COBRA in the realm of limited-edition drivers. Keep an eye out, because these are sure to make waves among collectors and players alike.
