Okay, so picture this: last week, Andrew Ivins—he’s the scouting bigwig over at 247Sports—found himself chinwagging with some Texas A&M insiders. At a symposium dedicated to, well, college personnel and recruiting stuff in Nashville. Sounds swanky, right? Anyway, amid all this, he unearthed some intriguing tidbits about these young Aggie dudes who are apparently killing it during practice. We’re talking about the 2025 football season, mind you.
Ivins was really jazzed about it on this podcast, “The 105” with some guy named Cooper Petagna (never heard, but whatever). He was all, “People just kept throwing info at me. I didn’t even have to ask.” Makes you wonder if he’s got some kind of secret magnetism for gossip about former big-name recruits. I’ll confess, no clue how that works.
So here’s the deal: over at Texas A&M, there are these two offensive guys and a couple young defensive linemen who are just all over it this offseason. Seriously, way more than people thought they would be at first. College Station better get ready. These kids are coming in hot, or at least, hotter than a late July sidewalk in Texas!
