I swear, I can’t even remember the last time Chelsea’s players actually finished, like, really finished chances like they did against Fulham yesterday. Maybe it was when Cole Palmer was actually in a groove, banging them in for fun. Those were the days that just seemed, I dunno, effortless? Anyway, just a thought.

And, of course, Jadon Sancho pulled a rabbit out of the hat against Ipswich, kinda saving us from total humiliation. An exception, though. Our finishing touch is typically like, well, imagining something with no edges – frustratingly incomplete.
