Fabian Edwards Aims for PFL World Tournament Victory and Eblen Rematch

Oh man, where do I even start with this Fabian Edwards saga? It’s like a soap opera mixed with a wrestling bout thrown in with a sprinkling of international intrigue. Picture this: Edwards, the guy everybody’s keeping tabs on in the PFL World Tournament (which, by the way, is a grand event for featherweights who seem to have this on-again, off-again relationship with Impa Kasanganay—could be a lovers’ quarrel for all we know).

So, somebody has the bright idea to say this fight’s happening, then nah, hang on, maybe not. It’s like PFL just can’t make up its mind. Anyway, Edwards, cool as a cucumber—or at least that’s how he seems—spilled the beans on what went down at the 2025 PFL 3 media day. Yeah, I know, bear with me, we’re still in 2025, aren’t we?

He talks about some visa delay or something. PFL jumped the gun thinking he wouldn’t make it, but hey, his manager comes swinging in like a superhero in a suit and tie, and boom, it’s back on. It’s like a movie script, but not quite blockbuster material—more like a drama your aunt recommends. This visa thing, huh? As complicated as trying to assemble IKEA furniture without the manual or something.

Edwards, guy’s got ambitions. Never got his middleweight grand prix moment with Bellator, right? And now, here’s this massive shout-out to PFL. Finally, I mean, they brought the middleweights through, and Edwards is practically glowing—figuratively speaking, of course. He’s all about these tournaments. They’re like his jam or something. The thrill of the fight, the glory—it’s all very dramatic, if I’m honest.

Now, if he manages to beat Kasanganay, who once lorded over the PFL light heavyweights and grabbed the golden goose—or million-dollar prize, whatever suits your fancy—Edwards might get a rematch with Johnny Eblen. Remember, Eblen handed him a pretty solid unanimous decision loss last time they met. Ouch.

Edwards has his strategy mapped out—three wins in five months is the dream. Crushing the competition, lining them up and knocking them down. But it’s all about keeping his eyes on the prize too, and right now, that’s Kasanganay. And not to sound like a broken record, but this Kasanganay dude’s story is like a feel-good, underdog narrative. UFC didn’t work out, so he hops over to PFL, becomes a headline act, bags a load of cash. Honestly, life’s weird like that.

What’s Kasanganay bringing to the table? Man, Fabian’s got him pegged as this powerhouse—big hands, all forward pressure, aggressive to a fault. But, Edwards has done his homework; they’ve cooked up some kind of secret sauce or game plan. Guy seems pretty confident. Or maybe it’s just bravado—fighters are like that, aren’t they?

If you wanna dive deep into Fabian Edwards’ media day drama, catch the full thing at the 2025 PFL 3 showdown. Yeah, I know, I should’ve made popcorn for this one.
